Fat Bet Poker

Fat Bet Poker was created in late 2006 and is on the Poker Nexus network, which uses Chartwell Technology software. Fat Bet is the largest skin of the Chartwell sites and provides some incredibly loose cash games and a competitive signup bonus for new players. Once you join Fat Bet Poker you will begin by receiving a signup bonus up to €1000 bonus in addition to qualifying for our exclusive rakeback deal. Fat Bet Poker is available with two playing platforms, offering players a full download or you can take advantage of the flash poker room. The poker room is owned by ECM Global Ltd and is licensed within the UK.

Fat Bet Poker Bonus

Fat Bet Poker is offering all new players a first deposit bonus up to €1,000 in addition to daily freerolls. The bonus is slightly different then what you would normally expect. To qualify for the €1,000 offer you must make a minimum deposit of at least €100/£100/$100. Once this has been done your Fat Bet Poker bonus will be released in 5 instalments based on the number of frequent player points you accumulate. To begin releasing your bonus you will need to earn 5,000 FPP’s at which point Fat Bet Poker will deposit 1/5th of your bonus into your player account. The remainder of your bonus will be deposited for each subsequent set of points you earn. The bonus will expire 60 days from the date of your initial deposit.

Game Variety at Fat Bet Poker

Fat Bet Poker provides the standard game selection which includes Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo and Stud, however interestingly enough we did find a couple of variations not usually found online which include 32 Card Poker ( Popular European version), Telesina and a Stud variant called Amerikana. The limits spread between micro to moderate levels with the highest limit found fixed at $50/$100, however only a few tables in the $20/$40 stakes were open during this review. Fat Bet Poker takes a 5% rake capped at $3 per pot. If you are interested in earning as much as 50% of your rake back each month, check our Fat Bet Poker rakeback page for details.

Tournaments

The tournament scheduled is significantly slower then what you will find at most rooms and is definatly not Fat Bet Poker’s strong suit. They don’t provide any major events, however there are plenty of daily freerolls and money added tournaments scheduled. Fat Bet Poker has a smaller player base, with peak hours seeing as many as 600 – 1,000 players, making most tournaments easy to beat. The tournaments are formatted in Holdem and Omaha with the nearly all of them centered around the low limit player. If you are looking for a top guarantee or seats to live events we suggest you check out Full Tilt Poker or Cake Poker as the this room mainly attracts cash game players.

Fat Bet Poker Software

Fat Bet Poker uses Chartwell Technology on the Boss Media network and offers both a download and flash poker client. The software is incredibly simple both in appearance and user controls with the games sorted into a point and click tab menu, and detailed statistics located in the main lobby. This provides you with information about each of the cash games including average pot size, hands played per hour and % of players seeing the flop ( which is unusually high not matter what limit you choose to play). The tables are just as simple as the rest of the lobby, providing a clean cut approach the tables are displayed in full view, and multi-tabling is available however is limited in resizable tables. Overall, it’s a relatively easy and simplistic approach to a poker site. The colour is fairly bland but speed didn’t seem to be an issue.
